About Us

The National Memory Project was created to provide a perpetual platform to record, preserve and share stories that you believe are of value to family, friends and our Nation.

Our goal is to record history from the grassroots level in the words of the people who lived it and protect these stored memories from “revisionist” alterations over time.

We invite you to recognize and memorialize the contributions of people, places, acts of courage, events or a way of life. Stories and Items of significance for a nation, a tribe, a city, a family or person need to be documented for sharing before the memory is muted or lost over time.

How it works with your personal memories (Memory Records). Our promise to you is a 100+ year long term “perpetual” storage for a one-time fee. Your Memory Records are indexed and individually registered to you either as standalone records or as part of a collection of Memory Records within National Memory Books about shared national interests.

Private or Public is your decision. Who can view the details of your Memory Record is up to you. See our Privacy Policy.
